Computer consists of components that work with each other to perform functions related to operations: reading the data, data manipulation, and generate output. Output can be displayed, printed, or stored in the computer storage media.
The functions can be done by providing a set of instructions to a computer program called. Activities related to the making of the program is called programming. To be understood and can be implemented by a computer program written by using the programming language and the need to be translated using a translator called a compiler or interpreter.
Computer System
A computer system composed of the three (3) elements, namely:
Hardware, is a series of electronics.
Computer hardware in general consist of three main components, namely:
1. Processor
2. Memory: Memory Primary, Secondary Memory
3. Input-Output Device
Software, a program that is running on the computer. The software can be classified as follows:
1. Operating System
2. Utilities program
3. Application program
4. Package program
5. Translators Pemrogaman
Brainware (User)
There are different roles that can be done in the human computer system. Some in the role include:
1. Systems analyst, play a role in the analysis of the problems faced, and designing solutions to solve in the form of computer programs
2. Programmer, a role to translate the design made to analysts in pemprograman so that solutions can be run by computer
3. Operator, the task to run computer-based instruction given
4. Technician, served up or maintaining the tap computer devices, etc..
